circa 1930

palmwood

19 ⅝ x 15 ¾ x 15 ¾ in. (49.7 x 40 x 40 cm)

Overall in very good condition. The palmwood presents with a superb variegated surface that compliments the table’s architectural design. The wood with scattered surface scratches, abrasions and light wear throughout consistent with gentle use. The palmwood surfaces with fine hairline cracks and open fissures in the grain throughout consistent with age and the evolution of the medium. One leg with some chips and minor surface loss to the wood concentrated to both sides of the upper corner. The tabletop and legs with some scattered very minor surface soiling, not visually distracting. The feet appear to retain their original protective metal pads.
